We never stop learning.

At West Fraser, we are committed to being a leader in the rotational power equipment industry. We know that continued professional development and hands-on experience will help our employees stay at the top of their game.

We support our team members with ongoing training and regular continuing-education seminars. Industry innovation, mechanical and technical improvements, and an eye to the future means we will always be able to offer our customers the best possible service.

Let Us Help You Understand Your Machinery.

Programs are offered in person and online throughout the year.

Comprehensive customer service means making sure that you, our clients, are confident and familiar with the equipment you have. It’s important to be trained by people who not only know their subject matter, but who can also clearly teach it to you! We turn to the exceptional and highly-specialized learning sessions offered by the Electromechanical Authority (EASA), which sets the international standard for industry best-practice.

AC Large Motor Maintenance

EASA’S newest technical seminar covers horizontal and vertical squirrel cage induction motors in the 300 to 5,000 horsepower range, low and medium voltage.

DC for the Hands-on Technician

This seminar is geared to the hands-on technician, as well as those with an interest in DC repair. It will be presented in a visual format, with no math or theory.

Root Cause Failure Analysis

One of the most important factors to consider when repairing motors is why they failed. EASA’s new seminar, “Root Cause Failure Analysis,” focuses on common as well as unusual types of failures broken down by motor components.
